Dave & Jess

Dave and I met in September of 2011 and have been together ever since. We share a home in the SW of Calgary along with our dog like creature we call “Casbah” it’s a good thing she is cute because it makes up for her lack of all things dog and a brain for that matter but I love her to pieces anyway- Dave does as well… I think ;).

Aside from working our 9-5 jobs (Dave works for a software company and works in a completely different language) I work for the Easter Seals of Alberta as their Events Manager.  We both enjoy our social lives very much and have an incredible group friends. Travel, cooking and trying new things fall under our top priorities. We live by three rules (I will explain another day, there is a reason behind each one):

• Sunk Cost

Travel and exploring our own backyard is our main focus and we do as much as our bank accounts will allow, that’s just what this little page is all about. From favourite foods, watering holes, cities, places & spaces. If you want follow along that’s great! I can’t promise it will all be fun or exciting but I will be real and maybe even humorous from time to time.
